(West Harrison, Ind.) – North Dearborn Road will be closed for two weeks starting Wednesday, April 16.

Dearborn County Highway Department supervisor Tim Grieve says that the road is in need of slide repair on the hill just west of the intersection with Pinhook Road.

North Dearborn Road will be closed to all through traffic at all hours during the two-week closure.

Knowing that portion of the road would need to undergo a slide correction, the highway department did not repave it as they did with other sections of North Dearborn Road last year, Grieve said.

The official detour for motorists will be to take Jamison Road to Bright, then Stateline Road to North Dearborn Road – or vice-versa.
