NWS: Fire Risk Tuesday

Posted On April 01, 2014

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Much of the tri-state is under a fire danger advisory Tuesday.

The National Weather Service warns that warmer temperatures, low humidity, and winds up to 25 MPH could make for a dangerous situation.

Fires could start easily from most causes, the weather service advises. Open burning is strongly discouraged because it could lead to a rapidly spreading fire.
