arrest-handcuffs-crime-scene-graphic-small.jpg(Harrison, Oh.) – A man suspected in an attempted break-in had nothing to hide, though he probably should have.

A Harrison Police officer was on foot patrol in the 200 block of Harrison Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, says Harrison Chief of Police Charles Lindsey. That’s when the officer heard the sound of breaking glass.

Going to investigate, the officer found Dennis Helcher, Jr. naked from the waist down holding a piece of wood on the side of Whitewater Valley Trading next to Ballard’s Hair Design. One of the windows at Whitewater Valley Trading was broken.

Helcher, 22, was allegedly highly intoxicated.

The officer arrested Helcher. He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct While Intoxicated and Criminal Damaging.

This isn’t the first time that Helcher has had a drunken run-in with the law. Last December, he was charged in Hamilton County with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, according to court records.
