One Injured In Friday Afternoon Crash

(Aurora, Ind.) – Aurora first responders began the Labor Day weekend by responding to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 Friday afternoon.

The accident was reported at around 3:10 p.m. in the U.S. 50 westbound lanes at Sycamore Estates Drive, the entrance to Walmart, said Aurora Police.

A 2012 black Ford Escape driven by Linda Cutter, of Rising Sun, collided with the passenger side door of 1998 Buick LeSabre driven by Mildred Hyden, of Lawrenceburg.

Hyden was taken to Dearborn County Hospital by Aurora Emergency Rescue for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Aurora Fire Department assisted at the crash scene.
