(Aurora, Ind.) – Grocery shopping no longer requires getting out of your car.

Walmart Supercenter in Aurora is preparing to add a new service called Online Grocery Pickup. The free service will be offered at the store located at 100 Sycamore Estates Drive starting on Tuesday, October 24.

The mega-retailer says shoppers go to www.walmart.com/grocery. You then select your groceries, pay for them online, and reserve a pickup time. A personal shopper will gather the items in the meantime.

Then you drive to Walmart where an employee will load the groceries into your car at no additional cost.

Merchandise eligible for Pickup service include groceries, health and beauty, baby, pets, household, laundry, and more.

Walmart has been expanding its Online Grocery Pickup service from 600 stores to an additional 500 stores this year.

The arrival of Grocery Pickup follows the recent addition of another new convenience feature for shoppers at the Aurora Walmart. The Pickup Tower, which stores items ordered online until customers come to retrieve them inside the store, debuted in September. New self-checkout lanes have also been added.
