(Undated) – When a team wins a conference championship, it can rest assured that it will have a large presence in the conference’s postseason awards.

Such is the case for the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles baseball team. The 2014 conference champions placed three players on the Ohio River Valley Conference All-Conference Team announced Tuesday.

The all-conference selections were voted on by the conference’s head coaches.

Jac-Cen-Del players appearing on the team included Ethan Adams, Dominique Norman, and Alex Schoettmer.

JCD coach David Bradshaw was named the ORVC Baseball Coach of the Year.

South Ripley star Joe Dicken, just about a week removed from pitching a no-hitter against rival Milan on May 22, was named the ORVC Mental Attitude Award winner in baseball.
