Police: Man Pulls Gun On Auto Dealer Employees Because They Didn’t Have His Parts

(Florence, Ky.) – An upset customer allegedly pulled a gun at Airport Ford in Florence when he was told the auto parts he ordered had not come in.
Florence Police say Sherrell Jacks, 75, of Ludlow, pulled out a black gun and pointed it at two employees at the dealership on Kentucky 18 around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Jacks had already left by the time police arrived.
Officers located Jacks driving on Kentucky 18 at I-75 and took him into custody. Two handguns were allegedly located during the traffic stop: one on Jacks and the other in the passenger seat.
Jacks was charged with two counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment.
He is being held at the Boone County Detention Center.
