Police Need To Identify Suspect In Bank Fraud

(Versailles, Ind.) – A man who defrauded local banks out of thousands of dollars is wanted by police.

Indiana State Police investigators say that in late May, an unidentified man went to five branches of the Friendship State Bank located in Dearborn, Ohio, and Ripley counties. He cashed multiple fraudulent checks amounting to more than $15,000.

There are surveillance images of the unidentified, middle-aged, male suspect.
