Police: Suspect Tried To Use Counterfeit Bills At McDonald’s

(Greendale, Ind.) – Police are seeking information about a man who allegedly tried to use counterfeit money to buy food at McDonald’s.
Greendale Police say a male subject attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill while going through the Greendale McDonald’s drive thru around 5:20 p.m. on July 20. Police say the suspect was reported to have a male, black passenger.
According to a news release, the suspect drove off when confronted by a manager.
A similar report was taken by the Lawrenceburg Police Department on the same day. Police say the counterfeit bills recovered from the Greendale and Lawrenceburg McDonald’s contained the same serial number.
The suspect vehicle is said to be a white Chevy Impala.
