Police: Woman Threatened Husband With Knife

(Batesville, Ind.) – A Batesville woman was arrested Monday after she allegedly used a knife to threaten her husband.

The domestic dispute occurred at around 1:20 a.m. on Monday, March 31 at Indian Lakes Campground near Batesville.

Deputies responding to the scene found that Mellissa J. Bowling, 44, was in a state of intoxication. She allegedly made threats against her husband while armed with a knife.

Officers arrested Bowling and have charged her with Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon (Class D felony).

Bowling is held at the Ripley County Jail in Versailles on a $550 bond.
