Raver Selected To Fill Batesville School Board Vacancy

(Batesville, Ind.) – There’s a new member on the Batesville Community Schools Board of Trustees.

Former board president Chris Lowery resigned from the board in July after being named the new chancellor of Ivy Tech Community College’s Southeast and Columbus regions.

Jeremy Raver was chosen by the board to fill the vacancy, The Batesville Herald Tribune reports. There were a total of four applicants, but Raver was unanimously selected by three voting board members.

Raver, 35, is the secretary for the Batesville Community Education Foundation. He has two children in Batesville  schools.
