RCCF Awards Nine Small Grants

(Batesville, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation is helping out local groups with its latest round of small grants.


The foundation has awarded nine local groups with nearly $3,500. The Foundation has set aside $8,000 to fund small projects of $500 or less for 2012. 


The grants are as follows:


American Youth Outreach Unlimited: $200 for a video camera.


East Indiana AHEC: $500 for the Strong Profiles for Ripley Students Program.


Milan VFV Post 6234: $500 for Facility Upgrade Project.


New Horizons: $500 for table and chairs.


Southeastern Career center: $500 for the Hobart AWS Sense Training.


Ripley County Amateur Radio Club: $180 for Emergency Communications (radios).


Ripley County Veterans Memorial Committee: $500 for the Vietnam Veterans Tribute.


Troop 631 BSA of Milan: $250 for a new tent.


Central Muscatatuck Watershed: $330 for the Wonder of Wetlands Workshop (books).


Applications are now being accepted for the next Small Project Grant Cycle.  These are due in our office by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8th.  Writeable applications are available on the RCCF website, www.rccfonline.org.


Deadlines for the other small grant cycles are August 10 and October 12.
