(Holton, Ind.) – The first destroyed home to be rebuilt in Holton since a tornado struck in March 2012 will be dedicated Tuesday afternoon.
The Hope for Holton Tornado Relief Group has been working over the past year to reconstruct eight homes which were destroyed by the EF3 tornado that struck last year, according to group member Darin Kroger. There will be a ribbon cutting and key presentation at the first home to be rebuilt at 5:30 p.m. Thursday on W. Versailles Street.
A reception will be held at the Holton Community Building, 7040 W. Versailles Street, following the ribbon cutting. All are welcome.
Two people died and dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed when the twister tore through the heart of town on March 2, 2012.
