Red Kettle Drive Nets $19K And Change

salvation-army-red-kettle-012320142(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Southeast Indiana residents again showed their generosity in helping the Dearborn & Ohio County Salvation Army raise more than $19,000 during their 2013 red kettle drive.

Kettle drive chairperson Bill Ewan says the change tossed into the kettles set up at Kroger in Lawrenceburg and Wal-Mart in Aurora totaled $19,089.86. That amount beat the 2012 fundraising total by $926.33.

The driver ran for one month November 21 through December 22.
