Report: Immigration Officials Make Arrests In N. Ky.

(Boone County, Ky.) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement rounded up nearly two dozen people in northern Kentucky on Thursday.

The 22 people are suspected of being in the country illegally, The River City News reports. They were arrested during a two-day operation Wednesday and Thursday.

Agents appeared to focus the enforcement effort in Florence, Newport, and Covington.

The 22 suspects are being held at the Boone County Jail. The jail houses federal inmates.

ICE officials could share more information about the roundup on Friday.
