(Undated) – Indiana is toward the bottom of the pack in a new report on health in the states.

The report, released yesterday by the United Health Foundation, ranks Indiana as the 38th least healthy state in America.

According to the report, Indiana was downgraded for a low number of dentists and a high level of air pollution.

However, Indiana does get credit for a low number of children living in poverty.

Ohio ranked 39th in the same report, and Kentucky came in at 42nd due to its high smoking rate and drug overdose deaths.
