Lawrenceburg Speedway

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – As country singer Garth Brooks once crooned, “it’s the broncs and the blood, it’s the steers and the mud, and they call the thing rodeo.”

The rodeo is coming to the Lawrenceburg Speedway this Saturday, September 6. Usually reserved for race cars showing off their horsepower, the dirt track will become a display for real horsepower.

3-Bar J Rodeo and the International Pro Rodeo Association will hold events including bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, bare back riding, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, team roping, and more.

Admission prices are $17 for adults, $7 for kids ages 7-12, and free for children six and under.

Lawrenceburg Speedway says gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and the rodeo events will begin at 7:00. Lawrenceburg High School’s concert choir will sing the national anthem prior to the start.
