Routine Traffic Stop Leads To Meth Bust In Franklin Co.

(Laurel, Ind.) – A traffic stop resulted in Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies arresting a woman for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Lea Ann Hall, 43, of Laurel, was reportedly pulled over for a routine traffic stop on Buena Vista Road Wednesday morning. A search of Hall’s vehicle by K9 police resulted in the discovery of meth and a glass smoking device.

Hall was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 felony) and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).

She was transported to the Franklin County Security Center, but was released after posting a $5,000 cash surety bond.
