UPDATE: Salt Fork Road Closure Date Changed Due To Rain

Update published April 11 at 2:05 p.m.:

Due to the rain today, Salt Fork Road in Bright will not be closed.

Project contractor Paul H. Rohe Company says Salt Fork Road will now be closed Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

(Bright, Ind.) – So far, so good on a project to upgrade Stateline Road through “downtown” Bright.

Project contractor Paul H. Rohe Company says that Salt Fork Road will be closed on or after Monday, April 11 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Work on widening Stateline Road from Salt Fork Road to Jamison Road began March 21. The $1.59 million project will see the installation of a center left turn lane, new curbs, gutter, sidewalks, and a new storm water system. Intersections improvements will be made at Salt Fork and Jamison roads.

The construction is expected to be complete in mid-October.
