(Aurora, Ind.) – A South Dearborn High School soccer star has decided on a college to continue her playing career.

The South Dearborn High School Athletic Department announced Thursday that Baylee Giesting has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Franklin College this fall.

Giesting was joined at the signing ceremony by her mother, Gina, father, Steve, Head Coach Bob Matola, Principal Brad Stoneking and Athletic Director Ryan Walston.

As a senior, Giesting played a key role in helping South Dearborn to a 10-6-1 record this past season.

Giesting is set to join a Franklin Grizzlies team that finished atop the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings in 2016 with an 8-1 record against conference opponents.
