Have You Seen Moo Lately? Herd Stolen From Dearborn Co. Farm

drought-cow-purdue-extension-07202012.jpg(Moores Hill, Ind.) – It’s no bull. Ten cows have been reported stolen from a Moores Hill farm.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department says 10 Holstein bulls and heifers were reported stolen from a farm on the 17800 block of Palmer Road sometime between August 16 and 20. Police were notified at around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies investigating the theft say the cows weighing 600 to 700 pounds each have radio identifiers embedded in their flesh.

No arrests or suspects have been announced. Anybody with information is asked to call the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department at (812) 537-3431.
