Services Set For Tenn. Crash Victims

(Bright, Ind.) – Funeral services have been announced for a man and woman from Dearborn County who died in a nine-vehicle pile-up crash in Tennessee.
Brandon Wilson, 28, of Lawrenceburg, and Deja Morris, 25, of West Harrison, were killed in a crash involving up to nine vehicles on Interstate 24 near Murfreesboro early Thursday morning, June 13. They were dating and on their way to the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester when the crash occurred.
Morris and Wilson’s services will be together, as announced Monday. The visitation is Thursday, June 20 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Bright Christian Church. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m.
The couple will be buried at Gibson Cemetery in Bright.
Four other people from the tri-state were injured in the pileup crash when a semi barreled into a group of cars that was stopped on the interstate for an earlier accident.
The truck driver, Stacey Colvin, 40, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, has been cited for Failure to Exercise Due Care by Tennessee Highway Patrol, but no criminal charges have been filed yet.
