Shotgun Fired During Dispute; Boyfriend Arrested

(Osgood, Ind.) – Allegedly firing a shotgun inside a residence during a domestic dispute has landed an Osgood man behind bars.

Acting Ripley County Sheriff Rob Bradley reported that deputies and Holton’s Town Marshal were dispatched to a disturbance at a home in Holton around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30.

Once on scene, the officers discovered that Daniel B. Hobbick, 43, had been involved with a dispute with his girlfriend. During the argument, Hobbick allegedly allegedly damaged two of the couple’s vehicles and fired a shotgun in the home.

Hobbick was arrested and charged with Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon (Class D felony). He was ordered held at the Ripley County Jail on $1,050 bond.
