(Harrison, Oh.) – Six Harrison High School football standouts have been selected to the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association Southwest All-District Team.

The association revealed its Division I and Division II all-district selections Wednesday.

Junior defensive lineman Austin Silcox was the only Harrison player to earn a spot on the Division II First Team as a defensive selection. He was second in the Southwestern Ohio Conference with 6.5 sacks this past season.

Five other Wildcats were tapped as Second Team Offense in D II. They are senior running back Ben Scott, senior quarterback Frankie Young, sophomore wide receiver CJ Young, senior offensive lineman Nate Weber, and junior kicker Kyle Farfsing.

Frankie Young led the SWOC with 1,857 passing yards and 20 touchdowns while completing 60 percent of his passes and throwing only nine interceptions. His favorite target was CJ Young, who hauled in 33 passes for a conference-leading 714 yards.

Scott ran for 1,157 yards, second in the conference, with 13 scores in 10 games for Harrison. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry.

Farfsing exhibited a great leg throughout the season, making 39 of 40 extra point kicks. He also connected on 8 of 11 field goal attempts, including a long kick of 49 yards.

One Taylor High School Yellowjacket football player earned all-district honorable mention as an offensive player, Steven Bledsoe.
