(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Thick fog is blanketing the tri-state Wednesday morning.
The soupy air has resulted in low visibility across the region. The National Weather Service had called for a Dense Fog Advisory to last through 9:00 a.m.
The fog had begun to dissipate in downtown Lawrenceburg after 7:00 a.m., but later rebuilt to be as thick as it had all morning at 9:00 a.m.

Meteorologists with the weather service say will continue to improve through the remainder of the morning hours as areas of fog lift. Some local spots may still experience lower visibility reductions of a mile or less at times before the fog burns off between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
When the fog does clear, you can expect sunny skies with a high in the low 80s.
Foggy conditions on U.S. 50 may have contributed to a two vehicle wreck at the intersection with Kilby Road in Whitewater Township around 7:00 a.m. Injuries were reported in the crash.
