A stand-off with police that began  about 9pm last night in Lawrenceburg
has come to an end.  Eagle News was told police were called out to a home
on East Williams Street near Short Street about 9pm last night on the
report of a domestic dispute.  About an hour after police arrived a few
shots were fired by the man who had refused to come out.  A neighbor said
they also heard shots from the police department.  There were children
inside the home but they  got out safely.  It  has been reported early
this morning that the man who was inside the house was shot.  The injury
is not believed to be life threatening.  There have been some reports that
it was a self inflicted wound.
