(Franklin County, Ind.) - Rick Gill, the Democrat candidate for Indiana State Representative in House District 68, has received some hefty endorsements for the upcoming election.

Gill, a former Indiana State Trooper, says he is honored to earn the endorsement of the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police, IBEW Local 212, AFL-CIO, and AFSCME.

“Gill’s strong belief in law and order protects the citizens of Indiana, the armed services, and the Veteran’s rights,” a news release from Gill stated. “Bringing good jobs to District 68 is a top priority with Gill, who said he will work hard to improve the economy in Dearborn, Union and Franklin counties. Gill is grateful for the support and endorsement of the labor unions.”

Gill is running in the November 4 general election against fellow Franklin County resident and incumbent Republican State Rep. Jud McMillin (R-Brookville).
