(Bright, Ind.) – An SUV nearly took a tumble over a hill on Stateline Road in Dearborn County Thursday.

A Ford Explorer went across the center line as it was climbing the Stateline Road hill north of Augusta Drive at about 5:15 p.m. The SUV ran through the guardrail and into a tree, which prevented it from falling into a ravine, according to an eyewitness.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

The crash is being investigated by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
