Teen Could Face Charges For I-74 OWI Crash

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A woman is likely to face OWI charges after crashing her vehicle on Interstate 74 in Dearborn County this past weekend.

Sabrina V. Bippus, 18, of Fishers, Indiana, was driving on I-74 at the 162 mile marker at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, October 15. Sheriff’s deputies say she went off the roadway, causing her vehicle to roll about four times.

Bippus was transported to Dearborn County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A blood draw was completed there.

Deputies allegedly found Bippus in possession of alcohol, marijuana, and paraphernalia.

Bippus is already facing possession charges and could face additional OWI charges pending results of a blood test, according to the sheriff’s department.

St. Leon Fire Department and Sunman EMS assisted at the crash scene.
