Thomas More’s Meyer Named To All-Commonwealth Team

(Crescent Springs, Ky.) – A former East Central High School graduate has been recognized as one of the best college football players in the state of Kentucky.

Thomas More College senior Trevor Meyer was honored June 24 by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Meyer, a West Harrison, Indiana native, was named to the Community Trust Bank 2016 Kentucky’s Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team.

The Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is a pre-season award for football players attending a Kentucky College or University.

Meyer, a 6’2″,300 lbs. offensive lineman helped the Saints rush for 2,608 yards last season.

Thomas More will open their 2016 season on Saturday, September 3 at Franklin College.
