(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Three separate accidents were reported within hours of each other in Dearborn County on Tuesday.

The first accident was reported at 2:27 p.m. on Hogan Hill Road in Moores Hill, according to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say the driver, David Kincer, lost control of his pick-up truck after he swerved to miss a deer. Kincer’s vehicle then struck a guard rail and flipped on its side. Kincer sustained minor elbow injuries in the crash, but refused treatment at the scene.

About 10 minutes later, another single-vehicle accident was reported on Georgetown Road near its intersection with State Road 1 in Lawrenceburg.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies say the driver, Brittany Denison, 20, of Aurora, was outside of the vehicle. A passenger, identified as Lyberti Heffelfinger, 18, of Dillsboro, was unconscious and trapped in the vehicle.

Heffelfinger was transported by EMS to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Denison was transported to DCH for minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.

The third accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. on Cole Lane at East Laughery Creek in Aurora. Deputies say Wilma Hammond, 77, lost control of her vehicle on the wet roadway and rolled it once.

Hammond was transported to DCH for minor injuries.
