Three Busted For Pot Possession

(Aurora, Ind.) – Two men from Aurora and another from Vevay are facing marijuana charges.

The North Vernon Police Department received a telephone tip about possible drug activity in a car at the Hickory Manor trailer court on Monday, February 13.

An officer arrived at the trailer court and followed the vehicle before initiating a traffic stop on Buckeye Street. A K9 officer sniffed around the vehicle and indicated that drugs may be presented inside. A subsequent search revealed marijuana and several pipes in the vehicle and on the occupants’ persons.

Arrested were 22-year-old Craig Halbig of Vevay, 20-year-old Ryan Bushorn of Aurora, and 19-year-old John Galliher of Aurora. They are each charged with Possession of Marijuana (class A misdemeanor) and Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor).
