Three Injured In School Bus Crash In Franklin Co.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – Three juveniles were injured in a school bus crash in Franklin County on Tuesday.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the accident on Old U.S 52 around 7:22 a.m.

Deputies say Scott Gray, of Laurel, was traveling eastbound on Old U.S. 52 when he became distracted and rear ended a school bus.

The school bus driver told police he was stopped to allow students to board at the time of the crash.

Deputies say the bus driver had activated warning lights but the collision happened before red stop lights were on.

Three juveniles, ranging from 14 to 15 years old were transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
