Update posted at 1:52 p.m.:

One woman was hospitalized following a wreck on U.S. 50 Friday morning.

Aurora Police say the accident occurred when a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Clarence Colter, of Lawrenceburg, failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he made a left turn from U.S. 50 eastbound into Bob Evans, according to Aurora Police.

Colter’s truck was hit by a Honda car driven by Ellen Davis, of Aurora, causing the pickup truck to go airborne and spin into an Aurora Do It Best Lumber delivery truck waiting at the stoplight to turn onto U.S. 50.

Colter’s passenger, Connie Colter, was unrestrained at the time of the wreck. She was transported to Dearborn County Hospital for head, chest, and neck pain.

Clarence Colter and Davis were treated at the scene. The driver of the Aurora Do It Best Lumber truck, Marvin Lows, was not injured.

Aurora Police were assisted at the scene by Aurora Life Squad and Aurora Fire Department.
