Three Vehicles Stolen In Harrison; Were Left Unlocked
By Mike Perleberg
(Harrison, Oh.) – Police in Harrison are trying to find the people responsible for stealing multiple cars.
Harrison Chief of Police Charles Lindsey says that in all cases, the owners had left the keys in their cars which were also left unlocked.
Last Thursday and Friday, two vehicles were taken from the parking lots at Kmart and CVS Pharmacy in Harrison. In both instances, the owners had only run into the stores briefly before coming out to find their vehicles missing.
The same thief may have struck again on Tuesday. A vehicle was taken from the parking lot of Chadwick’s Salon sometime during a four hour period.
Lindsey said one of the three vehicles was recovered abandoned and out of gas on eastbound Interstate 74. The other two vehicles have been entered into databases designed to help police locate missing property.
Harrison Police are continuing to investigate the auto thefts. If you can help with information, contact the department at (513) 367-3715.
