UPDATE: Tornado Watch In Effect Through 9 PM

The National Weather Service has additionally issued a Flash Flood Watch for the entire tri-state through Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
Rainfall amounts of one to two inches are expected, with some areas possibly receiving higher amounts.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of the tri-state Wednesday.
The watch affects portions of southeast Indiana including Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties. Northern Kentucky as well as most of Ohio are also under the advisory until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Meteorologists say storms will pack the possibility of a few tornadoes, large hail up to two inches in diameter, and isolated damaging winds up to 70 MPH. They will increase in intensity and coverage through the afternoon.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
