Traffic Crash Training Offered By Aurora Fire Dept.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Tri-state area police, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders are invited to a training opportunity hosted by the Aurora Fire Department.

The Traffic Incident Management Responder Training session will take place at the Aurora Fire Department on Saturday, June 28 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. To register, please email [email protected].

The training is provided by the Federal Highway Administration in partnership with the Indiana Traffic Incident Management Effort.

Food will be provided to those participating in the training session.

According to the announcement from Aurora Fire Department, clearing incident scene quickly with a well-coordinated, multi-disciplinary team of first responders and transportation personnel is an important means of reducing the risk of secondary crashes and congestion delays.
