Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust In Greendale

(Greendale, Ind.) – One person was arrested on drug-related charges following a routine traffic stop in Greendale.
Greendale Police stopped a speeding driver on Interstate 275 sometime Monday morning. The driver was identified as Rhonda L. Jackson, 50, of Cincinnati.
According to a press release, the responding officer said he detected an odor of drugs coming from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, over 30 grams of a hybrid strain of marijuana and other paraphernalia were allegedly uncovered.
Jackson was taken into custody and charged with Dealing in Marijuana (Level 6 felony), Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).
Greendale Police also cited Jackson for speeding, failure to carry registration and operating without proof of financial responsibility.
