(Green Township, Oh.) – A Cincinnati man died in a crash that overturned his semi truck and closed Interstate 74 for several hours Thursday.

Charlie Strunk, 46, was driving eastbound just past the Interstate 275 split at about 3:40 p.m. when he lost control of his truck and it ran off the right side of the highway. The truck was not connected to a trailer.

Strunk was trapped inside his vehicle. He died from his injuries.

The deadly wreck forced I-74 to be closed until about 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

A cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit.
