Webcams at Perfect North Slopes show snow guns in operation Wednesday morning, December 6.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The drastic drop in temperatures this week is good news for at least one local business.

Perfect North Slopes is taking advantage of this cold snap to make snow. Snow guns at the ski area were in action overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as temperatures fell into the 20s.

No opening day for Perfect North Slopes’ 38th season has been announced yet, but overnight lows in the 20s and teens over the next several days could mean that ski and snowboard season is not far off.

Some natural snow may also help. The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow showers Friday night and Saturday.
