Two Burglaries Under Investigation In Dearborn Co.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Investigators are looking into two burglaries that took place in Dearborn County on Tuesday.

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department, a home was broken into on the 5800 block of Wilmington Pike in Aurora around 4:42 p.m. on Tuesday.

Deputies say someone had pried open a door to the home, and took only 12-pack of Busch Light beer cans. The suspects also attempted to gain entry into a pole barn.

Another burglary was reported around 5:50 p.m. at a home on the 13200 block of North Hogan Road. According to a news release, the home owner stated that the home was broken into between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Deputies say there were pry marks on the door, and that several collector’s coins, antique coins and paper money were missing.

It is unknown if the burglaries are related.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
