Two Hurt In I-75 Florence Crash

(Florence, Ky.) – Interstate 75 in Florence was shut down for about five hours Thursday night following a serious crash.


Two people were injured when a northbound car struck the median near Mount Zion Road at about 8:00.


Aircare transported the drive, Christopher Jones, 23, of Hamilton, Ohio, to University Hospital in Cincinnati.


A female passenger was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence for minor injuries. A second passenger was not injured.


All I-75 northbound lanes reopened early Friday morning.
