Two Seriously Injured In Greendale Pile-Up

(Greendale, Ind.) – A five-vehicle crash in Greendale on Thursday afternoon sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.

Greendale Police say William Kelly, of Lawrenceburg, was driving a 2012 Ford van southbound on State Road 1 near Green Road at around 2:20 p.m. when he struck the rear of a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Randy S. Quicksall, also of Lawrenceburg.

Three more vehicles were involved by the time the collision ended: a 2015 Toyota car driven by Ruth Stutes, a 2008 Ford van driven by Tyler Vendeventer, and a 2005 Volkswagen car driven by Abigail Dole.

Quicksall was taken by Air Care to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries. Kelly was taken by ambulance to Dearborn County Hospital with serious injuries.

Greendale Police say they are still investigating the crash with Indiana State Police.

Other agencies working together at the crash scene included Greendale Fire Department, Greendale Life Squad, Lawrenceburg Emergency Rescue Unit, Lawrenceburg Fire Department, and Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
