Underway On The Midway: Dearborn County 4-H Fair Runs June 19-24

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Livestock, rides and funnel cakes make their return to the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds this week.

The Dearborn County 4-H and Community Fair begins Monday, June 19 and continues through Sunday, June 21. Local youngsters participating in 4-H will get to show off the food-growing, homemaking, and animal-raising projects they’ve been working on over the past year.

In addition to the exhibits, there are many other reasons to bring your family out to the fair. There is a 4-H poultry show and a dog show to get the activities started Monday morning. The Dearborn County Fair Queen Contest starts at 7:00 p.m.

The midway and rides will open at 5:00 p.m. and remain open until 10:00. Monday through Friday. On Saturday, they will be open from 4:00 until 11:00 p.m.

Main stage entertainment throughout the week includes “Science Mayhem”, a magic show by Cincinnati Circus, the Dearborn County Hospital Baby Show, Dearborn County’s Got Talent, live music, and more. A rodeo happens at the DCI Arena at 7:00 p.m. Saturday.

Admission for the fair is $8 per person Monday through Friday. Admission will increase to $10 per person for Saturday only.
