UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Friday, Saturday

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has decided to initiate a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire tri-state beginning 1:10 p.m. Friday.
The advisory is scheduled to be in effect through noon Saturday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – An impending winter weather system which could put three inches of snowfall on some parts of the tri-state has resulted in a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.
The weather service has the entire tri-state under the advisory from 3:00 p.m. Friday through noon Saturday.
Meteorologists expect accumulation by Saturday afternoon to be one to two inches, with some areas receiving three inches of snowfall. They warn roads may become slick on Friday night as a rain and snow mix falls earlier in the day.
Stiff winds of up to 30 MPH will also acocmpany the snow.
Friday’s high temperature is expected to reach 37 degrees, then dropping to around 20 Friday night. Highs on Saturday will only get into the mid-20s.
