image(Harrison, Oh.) – Police in Harrison are investigating two recent cases of vehicles being stolen.

On Tuesday afternoon, a person left their vehicle running and unlocked as they visited a business on the 100 block of Harrison Avenue. That’s when somebody got into the unattended vehicle and drove off, said Harrison Police Lt. Steve Wilson.

That stolen vehicle was recovered less than 10 minutes later just a couple blocks away. The thief, however, had fled.

Tuesday’s case came a week after another vehicle was taken from the same vicinity. That stolen vehicle was found a couple days later.

Wilson said the investigation is ongoing. Anybody with information can contact the Harrison Police Department, (513) 367-3715.

Wilson advises citizens to never leave their vehicle running, unlocked, and unattended.
