Victim Aircared After Motorcycle Hit By Semi

(Boone County, Ky.) – A motorcycle collided with a semi in Boone County Tuesday afternoon.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says Daniel Brewer, 43, of Dry Ridge, was riding his motorcycle on Toebben Drive near Independence at around 2:55 p.m. That’s when a tractor trailer driven by Eugene Reynolds, 54, of Cincinnati, turned in front of him.

Brewer was unable to avoid a collision and hit the semi trailer. He was taken to UC Medical Center by aircare with reported non-life threatening injuries.

Police said Brewer was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Reynolds was not hurt. He drives for YRC Freight out of Overland Park, Kansas, according to the sheriff’s department.
