VIDEO: Army Veteran Tosses First Pitch At Reds Game

(Cincinnati, Oh.) – Army SPC Brett Bondurant suffered serious injuries when he was the victim of an improvised explosive device blast while on patrol in Afghanistan the day of September 28, 2011.

 

Exactly two years later, the disabled veteran had the honor of delivering the first pitch before a sellout crowd at Great American Ball Park on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Bondurant and his family allowed Eagle 99.3′s Mike Perleberg to tag along and document the event on video.
