(Greendale, Ind.) – At least two people were arrested in connection with a possible drug investigation that came to a climax in Greendale on Tuesday, October 29.
At around 3:20 p.m., detectives with the Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit and Greendale Police were carrying out a reported drug investigation in a parking lot on Craig Avenue near Belleview Drive/State Road 1.
Two people may have tried to flee in an SUV, but were stopped by officers.
That’s when an eyewitness began recording cellphone video of the incident. The footage — provided to Eagle 99.3 by the eyewitness — shows officers with guns drawn instructing two suspects to exit the SUV. They eventually did and were arrested.
The names of those suspects and more about that possible drug investigation could be released later Wednesday by the Dearborn County Prosecutor’s Office and Special Crimes Unit.
