(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Better grab some bread and milk from your local grocery store. This winter season is going to show us just how unrelenting it is.

The National Weather Service has placed the entire tri-state under a Winter Storm Watch through 1:00 p.m. Monday.

Meteorologists say the potential exists for very heavy snow and significant icing late Saturday night into Monday morning. Accumulation could be between six and 12 inches, according to forecasters. The snow will cause white-out conditions at times and is likely to make travelling a difficult task.

Eagle 99.3 will post any closings or cancellations at www.EagleCountryOnline.com. We suggest submitting your weather announcements through our Contact Us page.

In the meantime, the tri-state is battling severe cold temperatures. People venturing outside should bundle up Friday morning as wind chill temperatures will feel as cold as 10 below zero.
